This is a great class for those who are interested in starting beekeeping, if you have purchased your first hive, or if you want the experience of seeing the inside an active beehive. Researching and reading books is a good start, but it is suggested that you attend a hands-on class to see if beekeeping is right for you. Additionally, this is a great class for beekeepers in their second through fifth year who want to see how an experienced beekeeper moves through the hives. Jason has presented to home school groups, beekeeping clubs and seminars, and WISD for adult education. Jason is a Texas Master Beekeeper and been featured on Channel 5 NBC news! Jason’s love and passion for bees is shown through his unique and charismatic style of teaching.
There will be a maximum of 15 students per class to ensure that all have a great experience.
